The Keeping up with the Kardashians show has been 12 years in the air, time proofs the success with the audience, who watched all the changes the stars passed through. And one thing can’t be unnoticeable, Khloé’s body has never been so good.
Khloé was often called as the fat-sister for having a curvier body, compared to her siblings. To get in shape, the 34-year-old star followed an intense workout routine and went on a severe diet back in 2015 after getting divorced from, the ex-NBA player, Lamar Odom.
Khloé Kardashian made a lifestyle change, turning to a fitness inspiration. The youngest of the Kardashian trio has built her individual brand identity focused on fitness and healthy lifestyle.
She wrote a book named "Strong Looks Better Naked" and her show "Revenge Body" where the participants get a makeover using the assistance of personal trainers and stylists leading to a major transformation inside and out.
In April 2018, Khloe had her first daughter, True Thompson, with the NBA player Tristan Thompson. Before the birth of her child, Khloe often filmed her sessions with her personal trainer and shared them on Snapchat and Instagram, giving fans a sneak peek into her renovated lifestyle.
With the pregnancy, she reduced the intensity of her workouts but still keeping it as a priority. She also faced a lot of criticism around her lifestyle during her pregnancy.
"For the ones who think they are physicians all of a sudden but MY doctor and I communicate and my workouts are cleared and highly recommended" - Khloé responded to critics on her twitter.
Here is her the complete workout Khloe was doing during her pregnancy, shared on her YouTube Channel.
She often spoke out about how important it was to her to continue to exercise throughout her pregnancy, saying she “feels off” if she doesn’t do anything. This is what her pregnancy workouts looked like.
Now, 1 year after giving birth, Khlo admits she has just started training and there are parts of her body that she needs to focus on.
In an interview to Women’s Health Magazine, Khloé’s personal trainer, Gunnar Peterson, told all the secrets behind her transformation. "We keep her mind challenged and her body guessing, and the focus is on building strength." On the link, you can find a special workout that Gunnar developed to work on Khloé’s core, strength, and resistance.
Khloe has 7 meals a day, balanced to provide her all the energy for her daily routine with the proper amount of calories in order to keep her body with a low percentage of body fat.
Before her morning workout, Khloé fuels up with a tablespoon of fruit jam and almond butter.
After completing her hard train, Khloé preps two eggs with a cup of oatmeal and a cup of fresh fruit. The combination of lean and good carbohydrates helps provide your body’s glycogen stores after exercising in order to help your muscles recover more efficiently.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star reaches for a piece of fruit as a mid-morning snack.
For lunch, her meal prep offers a four-ounce piece of grilled chicken breast with a half portion of a simple starch, like four ounces of yam or a half cup of white rice, along with a veggie and a salad. “Because I recently gave birth, I’m still eating a full portion of starch right now. For the salad, keep it simple with an oil-based vinaigrette. Any vegetables are great, but [Dr. Goglia] especially recommends those high in iron, like spinach, beets, asparagus, broccoli or romaine. You can also swap out the chicken for another lean meat, but make sure it’s grilled, steamed, baked, or broiled.”
To maintain energy, Khloe munches on fruit, nuts, and vegetables like cherry tomatoes throughout the day. “Don’t let yourself get hungry,” she reminds us.
Come suppertime, Dr. Goglia suggests pairing four ounces of yams with an eight-ounce piece of fish over other protein for “performance purposes and more rapid weight loss.”
Instead of reaching for a slice of cheesecake or a cookie, Kardashian fulfills her sugar cravings with nothing other than fruit—one of the key components in our best desserts for weight loss.
And finally, We have Khloé’s 8 rules, of her new lifestyle that summarizes this new concept of life by keeping her mind, body, and soul strong.
- Healthy breakfast
"I love oats. He could eat cereals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, especially those with a lot of sugar. But, instead, I force myself to eat egg whites and turkey bacon, for example. My breakfast is very full filling because I exercise a lot, I need sustenance. I finally had to accept the fact that sugared cereals did not bring me nutrients. "
- Do not listen to the criticisms
"I've always been told, 'Oh, you're overweight' or 'You're the fat sister.' He could have simply succumbed to criticism. I tried several diets. I tried several unhealthy methods like doing a detox program for 30 days. But I was not ready. You have to change when you're ready. I believe that people should do things in their own time, that's my philosophy. "
- Never say never
"It feels so good when you finally find your way, and in my case, this fitness side turned out to be exactly what was missing in my life - definitely not what people imagine of me. I never imagined that! I did not think I could keep that pace for a month. I thought, 'I can never go straight to the gym for a whole month.' But I love this lifestyle now, I love how healthy it is. "
- Do not give in to laziness - Never!
"I live in Calabasas, so it's a bit far (from the gym) and people are always asking me, 'why are you going there?' First of all, I believe in energy. If I like you, I'll move mountains for you because, after all, it affects how I'm going to start my day, too. I like to be surrounded by people with good energy. "
- Arrange a plan B
"Sometimes I think, 'I'm too lazy to drive to the gym', so I have a system with my sister Kourtney where we train with her personal trainer, which is great. So I always have a B plan if I do not go to the gym. "
- Eat right after the exercises
"I always carry a protein shake with me! I also take protein bars with peanut butter or almonds and sometimes when I'm completely exhausted, like only one and that gives me the extra energy I need. "
- Do everything moderately
"I still have a few drinks and I have fun, but it's different. I think it has to do with age. At 21, I did not want to know what I ate or drank, so I think that maturing also helped me to have a healthier lifestyle. "
- Celebrate the results
"I nearly threw up the other day at the gym. It was training so difficult, so intense. But it was also very rewarding. Someone asked me during an interview, 'When do you feel sexier?' And obviously, when you're in a long dress, with hair and makeup done, anyone can feel sexy. But for me, it's after training. When I get to the gym, I feel like crap. But when I leave, I have a sense of duty and empowerment, even though I am sweaty and disgusting. I feel very, very good. "
